I’m Joshua Evans, founder and developer of Plotwise. I’ve worked as a contractor and have drawn more than 75 site plans over the years. I built Plotwise to give homeowners and small contractors a more direct way to turn property information and project ideas into a clear, scaled drawing.

Why Plotwise exists
A practical bridge from an idea to a reviewable plan.
Preparing a permit drawing can be a difficult first step. Property records, measurements, setbacks, scale, and sheet requirements are often scattered across different sources, while traditional drawing software can feel built for specialists. After drawing 75+ site plans myself, I knew most of that work comes down to a small set of practical questions — so I built Plotwise to answer them directly.
Plotwise brings those steps into one workspace. You can begin with an address, refine the lot and structures on a scaled canvas, use conversational drafting help, and choose what appears on the exported plan sheet.
The aim is simple: help you prepare a clearer starting point, understand what is on the page, and have a more productive conversation with your local building department or design professional.
